The Manaslu Circuit Trek leads you through the mountain peaks, glaciers, high-latitude lakes, rivers, pastures, and dense forests of the pristine Manaslu Conservation Area (1,663 km2). Mount Manaslu (8163 m) is the major attraction of the park. On this trek, you can get great views of mount Annapurna, Ganesh, and Langtang. Manaslu Conservation Area is home to Snow leopards, Grey Wolves, Musk Deer, Blue Sheep, and Himalayan Tahr. You can discover 21 species of mammals, 193 species of birds, 587 species of vascular plants, and 2,500 species of flora during this trek. Bird species seen during this trek are the Variegated laughing thrush, Grandala, and Northern Goshawk. Manaslu circuit trek offers a unique experience of wilderness and adventure in the pristine Manaslu conservation area.
Our representative will pick you up at the international airport and drive you to the hotel. After then you will take a meandering evening walk with your guide through Kathmandu’s heritage sites, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together.
Today you will spend the day discovering medieval Kathmandu. Venture into Pashupatinath and visit Nepal’s largest Buddhist stupa, the Boudhanath Stupa. Later afternoon you will visit the monkey temple and then stroll around the durbar squares in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel near Thamel.
Early in the morning, you will take a drive to Sotikhola village in Dhading district. On the way, you can see green terraces and rural communities. After taking the dirt road to Sotikhola you can see the views of mount Annapurna, Langtang, Ganesh, and Manaslu. You will stay overnight in Sotikhola.
The trek starts from the Soti-Khola after having the morning breakfast. You will trek through the beautiful Saal forest accompanied by numerous waterfalls. After then you will cross the Budhi Gandaki river and get to Khursane via a rocky trail. You will continue trekking through the beautiful Gurung town of Labubesi and cross a suspension bridge to get to Machha Khola for an overnight stay.
Today you will cross Thado Khola and get to Khorlabesi. You will trek by the natural hot spring in Tatopani and cross the Budhi Gandaki river. You will trek further via Dobhan crosses the Yaru river and climb Thado Bharyang. After then you will trek through beautiful Gurung settlements and get to Jagat for staying overnight.
You will trek via Gurung village Philim and through the cultivated lands to Ekle Bhatti. From there you will cross the river Budi Gandakai and continue through a bamboo forest to Deng. You will cross the Deng river and stay overnight in the village of Deng
Today you will cross the river Budi Gandaki again and enter the Budi Gandaki valley. You will then trek via Prok village while gazing at stunning views of mount Siringi. After then you will trek further upstream of river Budi Gandaki crossing it several times and getting to Namrung for staying overnight.
As you trek further from Namrung village you can get spectacular views of mount Ganesh, Siringi, and Himchuli. You will continue trekking to Lihi village through beautiful forests, farm fields, and Chortens. After then you will pass through Lho village, and continuing further you will get to Lho village from where you can get magnificent views of mount Manaslu. You will also explore Ribung Gompa in Lho village and trek to Shyala. From Shyala you can get dramatic views of mount Himchuli, Peak 29, Manaslu, and numerous snow-capped peaks. Trekking further you will get to Samagaon where you will stay overnight.
You will spend the day at Samagaon acclimatizing and exploring the village. You can find thousands of Mani stones throughout the village. The village is mostly inhabited by the Sherpa community. You can enjoy warm Nepalese hospitality at Samagaon. Later in the day, you will visit Pungyen Gompa, and your guide will tell you interesting stories about the village and the mountains. You will stay overnight in Samagaon.
You will continue trekking toward Samdo through the beautiful Birch and Juniper forests. You will pass through the alpine grassland of Kermo Kharka and cross the river Budi Gandaki on a wooden bridge to get to Samdo. You will stay overnight in Samdo.
Today you will stay in Samdo for acclimatization. Later in the day, you will go on a day hike to a beautiful spot from where you can get amazing views of mount Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Cheo, Kang, Guru, and Larkye Peak.
Today you will trek around the valley of Salka Khola while gazing at the Larkya glacier. Then trekking further you will get to a stone-made hut called Dharmashala. You will stay overnight in Dharamshala.
You will trek further from Dharmashala through the moraines of the glacier. Then you will get to Larkya La Pass at 5,160m from where you can get stunning views of Larkya Peak, mount Himlung, Cheo, Kangguru, and the bold Annapurna II. Crossing the pass you will enter the magnificent sight of mount Manaslu. You wPll trek further to Bimthang gazing at this beautiful mountain glowing gold. Overnight in Bimthang
Today you will descend through Sangure alpine meadow and cross the Dudh river. On the way, you can get dramatic views of mount Manaslu, Lamjung, Himlung, and Cheo. Continuing further through rhododendron forests and farm fields you will get to Gho. You will trek further to Tilije for staying overnight.
Today you will trek via Thonje village crossing several Mani walls. From there you will trek further to Dharapani and Karte village. You will then cross the Marshyangdi river and reach the village Tal situated under the big waterfall.
You will continue trekking via Chyamje village and cross the Marsyangdi river before entering its valley. As you descend through the trail you can see rhododendron and pine forests, farm fields, and scattered human settlements on the green hills. You will then get to Syange for staying overnight.
Today you will take a bus drive to Kathmandu. Along the way, you can see fascinating hilly areas and settlements. You will drive through Besisahar alongside the river Marsyangdi and Trishuli and get to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you can take a rest until evening and join a farewell dinner with the team.
Make the most of your last minutes in Kathmandu with breakfast in a bistro, a city walk, and additional trinket shopping. Your guide will meet you at your inn and drive you to the airport two hours before the scheduled flight.
