Bardiya Jungle Safari Overview

Your 4 days Bardiya tour begins in Kathmandu by exploring the important landmark. You can admire a grand collection of architectural masterpieces, ancient culture and excellent wood craftsmanship and stone sculpture throughout the city. Kathmandu Bardiya tour is a combination of cultural and wilderness activities. Next, you visit the sub-tropical forest of Bardiya National Park which is the largest and most undisturbed national park in the Terai region of Nepal. The park encompasses 968 sq km of dense forest and grasslands which is a home to 53 species of mammals including Bengal tiger, one horned rhinoceros, wild elephant, some 407 species of birds including white-romped vulture, Bengal florican, peafowl, and bar-headed geese. You will engage in a number of fun jungle activities including deep jungle walk, bird watching, elephant safari and boat safari. During your tour in Bardiya National Park you will also get to know the authentic Tharu culture of western Nepal.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu to Bardiya

You will take a flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj 1 hour or drive to Ambasa for more than 15 hours, located in western Nepal. After that you will be transferred to Jungle resort where you will be offered refreshment and briefing on detailed program.
-Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and Lifestyle of the Tharus. Elephant breeding center visit and Sunset View from the Karnali river bank.
-Dinner and wildlife information before go to sleep.

Day 2Bardiya Jungle Safari

-Wake up call
-Half Day Jungle Walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the Tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Half Day Tiger Tracking & Bird watching. An excellent opportunity to see a Royal Bengal Tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia National Park. Packed Lunch will be provided. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful.

Day 3Jungle Safari

-Wake up call
-Full Day Jeep Safari inside Bardia National Park. An excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home. Packed Lunch will be provided for lunch. Crocodile breeding center visit.
-Dinner and sharing wildlife experiences before go to sleep

Day 4 Bardiya To Kathmandu

-Wake up call
-Departure onwards according to your schedule
